I'm absolutely appalled at the Westboro Baptist church for their actions concerning the bridge collapsing. It's just disgusting; they seriously even have a song? I can't even say anything else about it....

Awful. Really awful. Here's what wikipedia says about that "church," and I think they got it exactly right:
"The organization is monitored by the Anti-Defamation League, and classified as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center."
Also, they come off sounding like drunk college students or something. First Lutheran Dog Kennel--that's like 3rd grade level humor. And "God Hates Fags?" At least if they used the word homosexual, they'd sound more reputable. When I hear that, I picture about 5 college guys sitting on the step of a building with beer, mocking people as they walk by. "Hey man...God thinks you're lame!"
I found out something else funny about the church. Fred Phelps is the "pastor" and of the 71 members, 60 of them are family members. Somehow that seems appropriate. 1 messed up family and a few tag-alongs spreading their hate. I bet the Baptist Church loves the fact that they call themselves a Baptist Church, too.
I think I'll try to go put this out of my mind, now.
It just makes me sick. My aunt and uncle live in Topeka, so they have to see them a lot. Ick!

It is quite sickening. I remember watching a few of the videos of the one lady going on the news to talk about the Iraq war. Watching those videos makes you sick. Why must they call themselves a church!
dumb, I had this link saved that was from BBC of the "church", that was like an hour long. It was horrible & I couldn't help just watch these people & wonder.... WHAT? Are you serious?? & then I prayed for their sanity......
but I my computer is dumb & won't let me watch the video you have... cause my computer hates me... nor can I find it on youtube... anyway I can watch it?
